Jay Glazer reports that the Vikings are close to a deal to land Moss.

If true, the Vikings are probably the team that nobody wants to face in the 2nd half of the season. Adding Moss to Harvin, Schiancoe, AD and the running game, and the improved defense makes the Vikings a legitimate contender. This doesn't even consider the possibility of S Rice making a 2nd half return.

Looks like I could be dusting off the Moss autographed Vikings helmet again.

Childress is the perfect coach for Moss, lets the player run the team..... I hope his maturity level is different this time around.....

Favre has tried to get Moss twice before with the Packers. Looks like he hasn't given up.

IMO, this probably gets done. It's just like the Pats to trade away a player they probably will not sign at the end of the year, and the Vikings are a team willing to pay the price to make Favre happy.

Don't worry Brett will still throw a pick during the playoffs to end the Vikings' playoff run. He's very consistant.

On a day where the Packers failed to trade for Lynch, this would not be good.

This would have to include a long term contract for Moss too.

Considering the Bills just got a 4th and a 6th (up to a 5th) for Lynch... this would be pretty low.
