I was just reading Archibalds Bio, and although i did like him a lot and thought he was a good coach maybe there is something to this:
Prior to his job at Pepperdine, Archibald worked under legendary coach Jerry Tarkanian as the recruiting coordinator at Fresno State from 1997-99.
I know that Tarkanian was very suspect and to know that Archibald was leading his recruiting makes me think....... maybe the D1 scheduling had something to it, as Arch was in charge of that.
Purely speculation on my behalf just thought it was odd.
