Don't know if ISU has any interest in her, or her in ISU. Australian born and we have had good luck with their athletes. Decent stats and much improved over last year.

It would be good to add some P5 experience and some competition within the roster.

I haven't seen any film on her, but the biggest thing that jumps out to me is her offensive rebounding rates as a guard. She was at 12.4% last year, and you can compare that to the 12.5% that Morgan Kane had.
Not a critique of Fennelly, but we do not use guards to crash the offensive glass. And she is a very poor shooter from 3pt, so it seems like a bad fit.

We generally seem to de-emphasize offensive rebounding in favor of transition defense. Per game, we were 4th in the country in defensive rebounds and 187th in offensive rebounds last season.
I used to think that this was due to not having the right type of personnel. However, I think it is a basic tenet Bill sees as an advantage in interpreting stats, or other influences, over his tenure.

We typically have guards that do quite well rebounding. This past season Ryan and Fritz both averaged 5 boards per game with a fairly even split between offensive and defensive boards. Both averaged more than Kane did. When you look at the rebounding records at ISU of course one guard stands out - Megan Taylor. Another in the top ten list is Seana Johnson.

Just an FYI Bill was on KXNO yesterday and he made it sound like they were not actively pursuing any more transfers right now, and unless something surprising popped up in the next few weeks they were done. So doesn't seem like this player is on the radar at the moment.

We use the term guard loosely at ISU as do other WBB programs. Lot of our guards are playing forward. If you have three or four gals listed as guards on the court then some have to be rebounding, especially on defense. Seanna was a small forward listed as a guard that rebounded like a power forward.

Ryan does have good rebounding numbers for a point guard.

They did the press release for the two they did get. That’s usually a sign they are done.
