I've never really had a problem with Mizzou fans. But since this saga began, I've been following Tigerboard and I now have a STRONG disdain for Mizzou fans.

They're mostly disappointed to be in the Big XII and feel this way...

Missouri Tigers Athletics :: Mizzou College Sports :: TigerBoard.com :: Yep.... back to North / South divisions and Mizzou will

If not for Brad Smith/Chase Daniel they're no different than any other North team, save the Nebraska's dominance of the Big 8/early Big XII days. Kansas State had as much, if not more success than Mizzou. We were two FGs away from North titles with Mac...Mizzou was the benefactor of poor kicking on our part...the scr!pt for success could have been flipped...

I can't wait to see them shift back to irrelevance in the near future. They think Pinkel is their savior. Funny thing is...if they end up in the SEC at any point, they would be a doormat for the rest of their existence....and I'd actually like to see that!

I say F!$k Mizzou! I think this latest round of twisting in the wind is going to create some HEATED rivalry going forward.

i think i hate mizzou just for using a forum setup like that

Amen to that. You appreciate CF so much after you've been on other boards. Either old technology, or just the "what were they thinking?" explanation.

On a wider note, I've noticed the venom this realignment brouhaha has brought to the surface. Fans of Tech and KU coming to cyber blows when it looked like TTU might be joining the exodus to the Coast. KU responding that TTU couldn't carry KU's academic water and why would the Pac whatever want them? TTU responding KU's football sucks, and wasn't good even when it was good. (huh?) And on and on. I think the feelings are so bruised now that it's going to be difficult to establish any sort of reasonable relationships for quite awhile. Sad, so very, very sad. Love of money truly is the root of all evil.

A rule of thumb is don't go to other teams boards unless you want to end up hating them more.

The problem with MU fans is, they have had moderate success for about 4-5 years now, but act like they have been doing it for 20 years. I applaud MU's rise over the last few years but cut the ****. You are are far from a powerhouse kitty cats

The conference needed an injection of old fashioned college football hatred.

I don't think there was ever any hope of establishing reasonable relationships between fans on message boards in the first place. People are much different face to face, fans will be just fine.

This. If they endure 2 poor/mediocre seasons in a row, they'll lose their bandwagon fans.

IIRC - Pinkel was pretty much a lame duck coach until Chase Daniel came in and made things happen for them.
