Last spring, the producers of Lost and ABC announced that there would be 48 new episodes divided into 3 seasons of 16 episodes each. The 8 episodes that we will get to see this year actually equate to 1/2 of a season vs 1/3. There is talk that if the writer's strike is not finished in time, that they will just roll the remaining 8 into season 5 to make a full 24 episode season. I would prefer to see 8 episodes now, 8 in the fall (allows them to finish on the current planned end of season cliffhanger), and then the 16 planned for next spring. This would also make the wait easier.

Has anybody else seen the Oceanic Airlines billboard in Ames? It's on the west side of Duff Avenue. If you're driving north, look to the left just pass Red Lobster. Apparently it's one of only a few in the country.
If you go to FlyOceanicAir.com and click on the link to the press release, it says Oceanic is resuming flights after the Flight 815 disaster and one of their destination cities is Ames!
The cities listed in the press release each have a similar billboard in real life. Apparently some of them have they've recently had "graffiti" added to them that say "FIND815.COM". The last time I saw the one in Ames was a few days ago, and it didn't have the graffiti then. I don't know if it's been added since.
The theory I'm reading online is that the billboards are popping up in certain characters' hometowns. It's known that Kate is from Iowa, so most people are assuming she's from Ames. Kinda cool!
