If you have Java experience, I'm seeing more openings than anytime in the last 5 years. Send me a message if you're interested.

I'm confused. Are you a recruiter or HR for a particular company?

No, I just have worked at this same company for the last 10 years in IT. Thought I would pass it along. Too many hawks in my area .

Hook me up, my education was C++ but I've been teaching myself Java this summer. I have 500 of 1100 pages down. Have interviews in CR, Newton and DM coming up but would prefer DM. Entry-level.

ISU is hiring an entry-level Java position. Would be a cool gig too. Check their jobs website.

To the OP, is this (are these) positions posted somewhere other than here?

Do they even still teach C++ anywhere? Better learn C# asap.

ComS 229 on campus. C and C++.

Interesting, thanks. C would be useful if you wanted to get into game design or something like that. I know there's some C++ still in the Des Moines area but I rarely hear of it it's almost exclusively C# and Java and a splash of VB.net.
