As many of you know, we're nearing the peak time for yearly fundraising efforts for local charities. As a leader at Delta Dental of Iowa, I couldn't be more proud to be a part of a non-profit organization, but I also have the joy of sitting on our United Way committee to help raise money for their efforts as well.
Our organization's annual United Way campaign kicks off next week and culminates in our biggest event of the year on October 20th; our internal United Way Silent Auction. Last year we raised nearly $80,000 and are looking to top that effort again this year with the help of local businesses.
If you own or work for a local business that would like to donate merchandise, gift cards, apparel, services, or other new and work-appropriate items for our silent auction, we'd be honored to include them.
