I love Nigel's passion and transparency. But, I just can't find the same kind of hurt that he expresses at the beginning of this episode of "Let Me Cook." Maybe because he wants us to win so badly that it has affected his coherence.

He said something like it wouldn't have been worth it to have won against Mississippi and then be one of the worst teams in the Sweet 16 . . . and then only to lose to Michigan State.

[Using my Nigel voice] "Not worth it?" Are you nuts? Every team but one loses. Should Mississippi prefer to have lost to us so they wouldn't lose to Michigan State? Was it "not worth it" for us to make it out of the first round only to lose in the second round?

I can't conceive of thinking of anything other than going as far as we can. The possibility (or even likelihood) of losing in a future round would never make me not want us to advance.

After Nigel sees his therapist, I hope his coherence rejoins his passion.
