Very nice senior night tribute to our graduating seniors. I was reminded of Bigbee's huge accomplishments, but also thought about how frustrated she must be with the injury taking away from what would have been an even greater college career. With such a young team, we sure could have used here the past 2 years.

Many have admitted to being skeptical of Nolan as our Libero, but she silenced all of her critics with play that reminded us all that Christy really has created Libero-U. Mass, then Hahn and now Nolan. Quite a string of greatness.

Knuth was the ultimate team player. She did not get a lot of playing time, but when she did, she was ready to perform. She was flat out a tremendous blocker, something this team needs; if I recall, even Baylor out-blocked us last night.

Sorry to see all 3 leave at the end of this season - and wish them all the best in the coming weeks. Can't help but be super excited about next year: last night, bulk of the playing time went to 1 senior, 3 juniors, 3 sophomores and 1 freshman. B12 volleyball is improving, but we are right in there in terms of talent and athleticism.

and don't forget that Berta would have been another key young player out there. I think she's going to do a fine job continuing the Libero U tradition.

The bolded! We are a little spoiled. You watch an ISU match without ISU broadcasters and they are all talking about Nolan.

I like to get to your exact opinion here but it eludes me. Are you saying we are spoiled because our broadcasters are "homers" slathering on unwarranted accolades?
