This is actually getting really humorous. It's like watching the Energizer Bunny on an endless bed of hot coals:biglaugh:

Hey dude, I am work, this is great, making the night go faster.

I guess I should publicly thank Ames for giving me something to do.

How many of these am I going to have to post before you get the idea?!?

Can we just post pictures about AmesHawk from now on? Haha I'll keep it going.

Off the top of my head, Antwan Allen.

I mean all he did was break a guys jaw. He even spent time in jail for it. Of course it was after the season, and they delayed his trial so he could play in the bowl game.

So you think he should have booted a kid for one incident?

I ask out of exasperation: please stop, just stop. You're really getting nowhere while debating over basically meaningless information.

I am torn between wanting to present a good image of the Hawkeye fanbase, and wanting the hilarity to continue.

There, I've done my duty, I can't force him to stop. But this is a win-win for me :jimlad:

Same here... Just finishing up though, so I'm afraid my fun is going to come to an end here shortly.

Of course you notice when he realizes that he isn't getting the rise out of us that he thought he was, he disappears.

He is TRULY "that" guy.

Damn, I was actually kind of hoping that he'd keep going. It was truly insanity (trying the same methods and expecting different results)

A JUNIOR who committed assault, yep he should have been given a key to the city.

Wow, this isn't all of the alcohol crimes that you guys use as a shield. What a piece of work you are. Did your parents have any children who lived?

I thought that he would too, what a killjoy.

Now back to the topic, these guys need to serve as deterrents to the young guys. This is not a problem that we need to hear about continually like our "friends" to the east.

I'd like to see C Willy's google analytics web traffic report on CF for yesterday and how it all compares to the rest of the month. Probably posted some pretty decent numbers on average time on site and referrals from hawkeye nation.

What cops are you guys talking about? I know I have a different view of police coming from a large city, but it's actually becoming quite competitive to become a cop in Chicago and you are required 3 years college/military combined or something like that, and even then they have too many applicants.

I think we've maintained all along that being a cop in a larger city and being a cop in small town Iowa are NOT the same thing. Not even close.

Lattimer getting in trouble is not acceptable. I don't like it. But I don't think it warrants being kicked off the team.

As far as Hawk fans go, we will take care of our own matters. Clean up the rapists, thieves, and your own drunks that are on your athletic teams.

And while you are at it, give Coach Ferentz some lessons in morality. It is immoral to be making millions of dollars per year while your kid is pocketing his stipend money and living off the taxpayer in HUD housing. And it is immoral to allow other FB players to do the same as it deprives truly needy people the HUD housing they need.

And it is immoral to send people to clean up a crime scene after an alleged rape has occurred. And illegal. I am amazed that Ferentz wasn't charged in that instance. Anyone else and they would be in the slammer.

Why do we want to get in a ******* match about who's worse? Iowa has its problems. ISU has its problems. The difference I see is that Iowa fans look at their issues and try to explain them away but don't bring up the things that have happened over here. I haven't heard about Berryman, I haven't heard about what happened to Howard's sister, I don't see them pointing to Simms maryjane bust and the AD's attempt to cover it up. Exactly, by posting what you did, you look jealous and pity. It's a shame that something happened Friday night. If it's serious enough, I'm sure Paul will deal with it with a stiff hand. However, I think he also is aware that we need players to be successful. So, I don't see Lattimer going anywhere unless he put a cop in the hospital or worse. CPR isn't in a position to push kids away, especially defensive lineman.

Agree. I was responding to Hawk posters who are trying to puff themselves up after their Tie for 2nd in Sports Illustrated for most arrests for teams in Preseason Top 25.

Yeah it was petty of me to post that. I suppose I could have posted something about Freerentz and the team physician and AD all taking trips while so many on the football team are suffering from a severe and painful muscle disorder. 13 players in the hospital. And Ferentz leaves on a recruiting trip.

And Hawk fans don't need to bring all that stuff up about our Cyclone past troubles. You just did.

Huge difference.................tough to be a big city cop. They have my respect!!!!
