So it has gone to from 1-2 off of 24 arrests during 2007 to somewhere below that from 2007 to somewhere between the fall of 2008? Ok.

Wow, you are a funny one, I am sure that you're effort to argue semantics because the truth, and reality is never the friend of a hawk fan. There are 19 that have been posted.

Of course, if you extend that timeline until the beginning of fall practice the next year, and you can include:
13) Harold Dalton, UI football, interference with officials acts/disorderly conduct/public intoxication (2008)
14) Dezman Moses, UI football, public intoxication (2008)
15) Riley Reiff, UI football, public intoxication and interference with official acts (2008) The Summer BEFORE his freshman year...
16) James Cleveland, UI football, drug tax stamp violation and unlawful possession of prescription drugs (2008)
17) Ryan Donahue, UI football, possession of alcohol under legal age (2008)
18) Arvell Nelson, UI football, possession of marijuana (2008); BTW his THIRD arrest.

So I will give you that it was it was only 19 in ONE year (think about that, pretty impressive. But extend the timeline a few months, before the season even started, and you have more.

Yeah, I can see why you would want to try to turn the argument to semantics. The entirety doesn't work for you.

Not really, decided to stay in tonight. Not sure how I am starting anything on the forum, just responding to others. Notice I have not said anything about the incident from last night.

So you "decided to stay in tonight"? I think it's more like your lack of friends made the decision for you, and I think it's more like every night, not just tonight.

Well, we all need our goals. Good to see you guys are picking up the effort so far this year.

Yep hopefully we can be able to harbor a rapist on our team. I also think we need to handle everything "internally". You know that word that Ferentz says when he says he'll take care of it but never does anything. We also need a girlfriend/wife beater. Maybe Rhoads will lose control of his son only to see him be arrested twice.

The count of 19 already included most of those arrests (check the previous page). Dalton and Moses weren't listed tho. So that's 21 in 2007 and the first 8-9 months of 2008.

So I would just like to make this clear:

You admit you were off on your number
You include more than a 1/2 year to your timeline
And you also do not remove the arrests from 2007 that were before the season, to make up for the 2008 ones you added.

Makes great since Mike, well done.

I was gonna make a joke about Adam Robinson's sister and the "swallowing pain" reference, but I think it might have been a little too far.

Actually, we will post the entirety of 2007-early 2008 for you.

Make sure you count this out. As a warning, you will run out of appendages to count, so bring the calculator...

There you go 24 arrests. Sorry it was over 16 months instead of 12, I know that is a huge deal for you.

What rapist did Iowa harbor? Pretty sure they were kicked off immediately. What has been handled internally?

He was considered to be a part of Iowa's football program for quite a long time after the charges were brought forward. I cant tell if the second question is a joke or if your serious.

Might want to point out that several of those are the same case numbers stemming from the same incident (Nelson, Brown).

No, I am curious, what was handled internally? I can think of one, AC. Any others that I am missing?

To be fair, they were removed from the team, after kirkie learned about the rape that he covered up.

But, if he knew enough about what they did to kick these two off the team, then why did the coaches give glowing recommendations to the coaches at the schools they transferred to?

I know that he needed them to leave ic, because they were in the midst of a cover-up, and you have to bury the bodies. But, it would seem that if these guys were kicked off the team, then it would seem that they would have informed the coaches that they had problems looming.

Ah so it was only 21 athletes arrested. nice, that is much better. Keep trying to change the argument. The truth is never your friend.
