Correct, I believe Lakers finished up a 5 game road trip last night on the East coast. That clip appears to be from a Lakers home game.
That's really cool...well, I don't know if "cool" is the most appropriate word for it on a very tragic day for the NBA, but I'm glad they did something like this.
It's hard for me to see that as anything else besides a self-indulgent "Look at me!" kind of post.
Kobe just loved basketball, I figured he would be a Bill Russell type. A guy who even when he was into his 70’s and 80’s current players would still be coming up to at all star and Finals games to shake his hand and talk to him. He was someone who wasn’t going to disappear from the NBA scene, it’s shocking that he’s gone now.
I’m not sure why but this one just is absolutely gut wrenching. Just in shock.
It was obviously more localized but it feels like when Chris Street died.
It's got to be the most shocking passing of a sports icon. They were just talking about it on ESPN2. One analyst said the closest he can think is Dale Earnhardt but NASCAR doesn't have near the worldwide following that the NBA does.
Yeahhh I'm gonna sit that one out.
No chance it's real his helicopter is a different color plus doesn't even look like the same model plus those aren't the same mountains plus there isn't any fog in that video.
