Hopefully they're just resting him to fully heal for the tourney.
Now what? JFC, this season is off the rails now.
His knee hurts. Has for weeks. Knowing you could play 2-4 games next week, followed by a game every other day for the next few weeks, you would be silly to not consider resting him.
Probably need to rest him next week too. Need him healthy for March Madness
Fine, and meanwhile our seed plummets from getting swept by a team under .500. Every game matters at this point.

Agree....but I don't see both of those happening. We can beat KSU without Gilbert.
It was sounding like this was a groin strain as what Hines said, but the Cyclone MBB account was still saying the muscle strain that was in his knee. So I would hope its for rest and he doesn't have another injury that he's dealing with, or that he reaggravated the muscle strain.
So play him to further the injury so he's not able to play later?
I think there might be more to this with TJs comments about playing for yourself rather than the program
