JTS Improvements - Want More

I'm always left confused when I see this list of projects. What am I missing in regards to the Albaugh Family Plaza and Concourse? Even if that number includes the ramps up to the stadium on the north side, the elevated walkway around that end, regrading the hillsides, and the plaza outside the stadium; I still don't see how you get to $30m.

The sad thing is the $10M on the garden. It seemed like they redid the design mid build multiple times…..

After the game, anyone know why security held up the entire North exit (on West side) for a while?

I've never been clear if pedestrians are allowed to walk between the stadium and the performance center building after games.

Easiest way out for me is to exit the West side gate and walk north, but half the games security claims we can't walk north, so I stay in the stadium concourse and just head to north gates to exit. But then most of the time I get up there and I see fans walking through where I was told I can't go.

I just don't understand what the actual policy is. Are fans not supposed to be allowed in that area at all? Do they just have to wait a certain amount of time after the game ends to get all the players/coaches off the field? No consistency at all, from my vantage point.

I've always heard that became a pet project for Leath and/or his wife and the plans got changed multiple times and they eventually ran out of money. The funding for the project was tied to the $25m lead gift by the Reimans' to enclose the south endzone.

Similar to what I’ve heard second/third hand.

Guessing an Auto Parts store will be in Cytown cause God knows Ames doesn't haven enough of those.

Probably the demolition of whatever the old building was that was there before. For the love of me I can't remember the name of it.

Yeah, is concrete easier for ice and snow; commuter lots, MBB. WBB, volleyball etc.??
You generally get more solar warming with BC (asphalt) than Portland cement concrete. My east facing BC driveway doesn't have a big ice problem but my neighbors who have an east facing PCC driveway get pretty bad icing a few times each winter.

Regarding the Albaugh plaza, I never understood why they put rock down in a high traffic area that is one of your grand entrances to the stadium. Why not use red brick as a border or at least stamped colored concrete. I feel the same way about the islands in the new parking lots.

There’s a chance the gravel in the islands is a placeholder until they put the trees in, the way the spray stuff was.

Sodding B3 this afternoon. You’re next, @Messi.

Does that UFO looking thing ever get used for events?
