Somewhere a few years back Monte said he was going to buy an apt (not primary residence) in Ames when he hangs it up in the NBA.
I could see guys like him, Seneca, etc really consider those condos.

I think Iowa State needs to develop some sort of ring of honor or something as an alternative to hanging jerseys. That way, you can still honor great players, but not get carried away with retiring jerseys.

Thought I heard Jamie say part of the ISU rules is they had to graduate from here and be gone a minimum of 10 years. Will be interesting if they hang anyone's jersey that wasn't here for 4 years. Correct me if I am wrong, but I don't believe any of those hanging currently as retired numbers were transfers or left early.
