I've been using a friend's cable login to stream FS1 in the past. Thanks for the heads up on the free trials, that may be a good option to get me through a few weeks when we have games of Fox channels.

If you still have the login, I've confirmed FS1 works with a Roku stick (it has a native Fox Sports app, rather than casting via the mobile app).

This **** is exactly why I had to go out and buy fire sticks even though I already had chromecasts on my TVs. Fox sports lets me streams on the firestick but the chromecast doesn’t support it. Learned that last year.

wow a lot of my old backdoors that worked last year are shut down
i must say the digital content owners are finally getting their act together
a huge workaround used to be use service at your business and use the login at home but even xfinity/comcast has shut that backdoor down by forcing you to be on your business circuit for the login to work to watch most content
now of course through creative tunneling that can be solved but man thats a lot of work that i dont care to do
also no chromecast on xfinity app anyway
looks like espn is one of the last holdouts probably due to agreements they have that have not expired yet
sounds like the chromecast fun we have all been having for years is going away for most backdoors

You could stream and cast through Chrome instead of the app. Just log in and stream on the fox sports website.

Winner, winner, chicken dinner. Go to foxsports.com/live on your laptop, log in, and stream via Chromecast. Works like a charm. I've been watching the MSU-Tulsa game tonight with no issues. Only buffered for a split second once. Quality is pretty decent.

yes that will work u take a hit in quality tho

Quality isn't that bad via the laptop/website/Chromecast option!

Yeah it's a bummer that options are slimmer than they used to be, but honestly I'm surprised it has been this easy for so long.

If you have a laptop, wifi, provider log in, Chromecast, and TV you are good to go tomorrow... see above.

Anyone have advice for someone with no cable? How can I watch the game? I plan to save the Playstation Vue and AppleTv free trials to later this fall for bigger games.

Reddit streams

This. If you google "Reddit College Football Streams", there will be a 'thread' for each game. Within each thread, there will be a link to an HD stream, and so far this year they're pretty simple to get going. Click a link, maximize the window, and you have an HD stream that doesn't buffer.I'll probably pay for one of the streaming services this fall just to have multiple games at once without my laptop, but this is a solid option.
