Iowa State also looks for a victory over a top-10 team on the road for the first time since toppling No. 8 Texas, 58-57, during the 2014-15 season.

It's senior night at Texas, but there's hope. We're on a three game winning streak and UT has lost 2 @ OU and to BU in Austin after UT led BU most of the way. The Cyclones lead the all-time series between the two teams 17-14. The Longhorns hold only a 9-4 edge when the game is played in Austin. Texas defeated Iowa State 75-68 earlier this season on New Year's Day in Ames, Iowa.
UT has a huge roster with five players 6'3" or bigger, but McCarty 5'4" Jr. leads scoring at 14.6 ppg. and Atkins 5'11" scores 13.5 ppg. Holmes 6'3" frosh scores 12.2 ppg. Lang 6'5" Sr. rounds out the top scoring at 9.7.
A month ago some of us were hoping to finish at .500 or better for a possible WNIT invite - now we're a legit bubble team - this is a tough one to make a statement, but it's been done before.
Go State!!!!
