The print edition headline reads "No. 2 Huskers survive ISU storm". The Lincoln Journal Star gives huge kudos to ISU volleyball. NU seems to think that if ISU had gotten one more serve to fall that ISU would have gone on to win. Credit is given for relentless play and a large frenzied crowd. Imagine what that would be like in a smaller venue like NU plays in. It seems that ISU is coming together and should enter the post season - needs wins which should follow that kind of effort.

ISU played really well last night, barring a few runs that NU had. If we could have pressed through those, the match could have looked different. Especially game three, when NU was up something like 23-14 or so and we went on a serious run. Mahoney and Mass brought it from the serving line, some of the freshman did a lot of maturing last night! Great game, but I think CJ and the girls are past the point of moral victories, lets get them at NU!

The third set was pivotal. ISU was down 20-11, then 24-20. Fought back to tie it 24-24, took a 25-24 lead, and then served into the net on set point.

Had ISU taken the third set, it would have been a totally different story.
