ISU/IOWA/UNI/DRAKE- Who's best in-state?

With the upcoming schedule of in-state games coming up. I see that Iowa State is slated to play Uni, Drake, and Iowa- in that order. So, who is going to take home this years in state champ? My guess is that we will have our way with Iowa and Drake, but without a healthy Wesley Johnson we may run into a road block with Uni. If he is healthy, I think we can play and maybe run the court on them. Diante Garrett and Johnson will probably be the key in an ISU victory. My prediction however is.

UNI- 3-0.. winning a close one against the clones
ISU 2-1
Drake 1-2
Iowa 0-3. This could be tough on their morale! : )

What are your thoughts?

It all depends on how healthy Wes is. If he is ready to go, I think we will go 3-0. Without him, the UNI game will be a struggle, although I still think it is a winnable game. I really like Garrett and his court presence.

I think that UNI might get us early (for said reasons) but by the end of the season (barring more injuries) we will by far be the best team in the state!

Remember that Drake and UNI play each other twice.

I think Iowa will go 1-2. I don't think they'll lose to all 3, and I doubt they'll lose again to Drake. However, UNI is a good team, and ISU is decent as well - plus their road games.

I think Drake might be better than we think. Not a tourney team or anything, but I know they have a little talent. Who know if Keno can coach them though.

Keno will coach Drake the same way his father coached. Drake have a high pressure full court defense. ISU struggles against pressure defense. Unless ISU corrects their turnover problems, Drake will be a tough matchup for us.

I think we beat both UNI and Iowa, but lose on the road at Drake.
