Does anyone know who might be the person / player (jersey anyway) pictured with Pete in this Pete Maravich clip, who is seemingly wearing an Iowa State BB uniform? It's very brief, only 3 seconds long or so, at the 14:30 mark.

I was just watching a little Pete, saw this, and now am very curious. It looks like maybe it was filmed when Pete was doing a clinic a some sort, in the later part of his life, maybe the late '80's?

Anybody know who might be the Iowa State guy here? Any any story behind it?

I wonder if it's an Iowa State player, helping him out with a BB camp? Looks like he's maybe wearing an Iowa State practice jersey. The aforementioned segment is SO short!

These reaction videos on all topics amuse me on the human condition.

It’s now a highly marketable skill to be entertainingly ignorant in a likable open minded way. People love thinking “now you know what I know, isn’t this great!”.

Sure that’s not an NC State Jersey. Probably around the time NC State pulled off the NCAA title run. It looks more like NC State red and not our red

FWIW, Pete still holds the NCAA scoring record averaging nearly 40 points a game over his career without playing as freshman, no 3 point line and fewer games per season! He was a magician with the basketball.

And, no, I wasn't sure that was Iowa State on the top there. It's kind of our old cardinal and gold though, even though the script is in white. I did think about NC State. Or maybe VA State (although I wouldn't know who that would be).

Just thought it curious. And if anybody had any other ideas.

Most of which are a staged reaction as well, You can't listen to a song the very first time and know when to strategically stop it right before a major change so you can make a face.

Sure you can. In a lot of songs there are buildup's right before the chorus to make it pretty obvious that it's next. That still doesn't change the fact that reaction videos are dumb.

“Oh daaaaaamn…I didn’t know Michael Jackson/James Brown was a good dancer! I thought Bruno Mars invented dancing until today. I’m only 23 years old so now I have a little knowledge from older generation and I’m so appreciative to be less ignorant. You old people actually are cool.”

That’s a career now haha.

This wasn't the greatest rxn video I've ever seen. Some of the music ones are pretty good and I get something out of them, usually (when I do occasionally view them).

And if people want to do them and can make a few pennies, or dollars, more power. :)

But how do they make any money off of these? The music they are reacting to is almost always copyright protected, and their reaction video would be immediately de-monitized. Do people actually contribute money to their Patreon?

I think making $$$ directly off views while illegally using audio and video is pretty rampant actually.
