Heres a poll just to see what the results are. These are basically the most popular one i've seen when reading the forum and a few of my own

If someone could post a yahoo link, that would be nice. My vote goes to "its about time" incase you were wondering.

How about coming out to our fight song like most Div 1 schools. I just don't understand the AC/DC Van Halen etc theme. These bands are 25-30 years old. Our fight song is timeless.

I don't think we are saying replace the fight song, we are talking about before the team takes the field, as they walk down the entrance way and the team highlight video plays on the jumbotron. Of course we would still use the fight song as the team took the field. But if they started playing the fight song the moment the team started coming down the ramp to the field, they would have to play it 2-3 times because of the amount of time it takes, it would kinda loose its effect. AS far as how old the song is, it was recorded in 1990, which can't be much eairlier than the Jock Jams/Mortal Kombat techno song we have now.

My vote goes for thunderstruck, I just think that song timed with real tornado sirens would really get the crowd going!!

We do come out to Fights. The band starts playing it when the cannon goes off and the team bursts through the banner-gate-thing at the NE corner of the field. That's the team officially "coming out" (and not in that sense). This whole music discussion is about the song that plays as the team files down the ramp from Jacobson and gathers on the sideline.

But then again, JP has repeatedly said that they're changing how the team takes the field. Who knows what that means? Although, looking at his track record so far, it probably means that the center logo on the field lifts up to reveal a hydraulic elevator platform with 40-foot pyrotechnics going off all around Jack Trice's crown, and John Burnett-Larkin animatedly announcing from the top of the press box, rather than inside it.
