Announcing a year in advance that his contract won't be renewed and having a lame duck with no recruiting capability is a move I thought only Bowlsby would make. Almost identical to his handling of Tom Davis.

Speaking of Bowlsby....now that he is gone from Iowa does that mean Iowa loses their inside man at the NCAA selection committee? Wasn't Bowlsby the director or something?
