Third Base in Des Moines is a classy joint. It has some awesome writings on the bathroom walls in the men's room:
1) Dave Birkey needs Rogaine
2) Jess Wright is crazy fine
3) Free sheep with trailer ask for Johnny
4) Adam Haluska is a fag
and numerous other disparaging remarks about both ISU and Iowa.
Isn't this the Iowa-friendly bar?
You'd think after five years of going there they would have cleaned the walls up once.

Its a Hawk hang out. I was there the day/night of the ISU/KSU game and the Iowa/Minn games. I was wasted and the some moron shootin hoops hit my foot with the basketball and I just for some reason picked it up and chucked it across the bar. I didnt even think, I just did it. The guy was PO'd and probably so was the one I might hhave hit it with. But my buddy I was with, A Hawk fan didnt want to see it go any farther so he rushed us out.
