I actually made it up to Ames yesterday for other reasons, but i didnt notice any basketball players or teams and buses. I was only up there for a few hours. But has anyone heard how it went? Hopefully it was enjoyable and we can make it an annual event that gets bigger every year.

[/b][/quote] As far as I know, there was no AAU tourney in Ames this weekend. ISU MBB did hold their elite camp this weekend at the Forker Building on campus Sat. and Sun. Paul Clark has a great article on Sat.

I think VanColeman is going to scrap his plans for this year and try to hype it more for next year. I think interest is not very good for a short notice.

Oh, i was under the assumption that it was an AAu tourney. Is this the one Jake Sullivan was helping to organize? So did they just invite a bunch of potential recruits? Were there many players there? Im not a big fan of Paul/Cyclone Report.I was a subscriber for over a year and ill admit he does nice stories where you wont find elsewhere, but i cant stand how many things are handled over there.

Yeah...you probably read a post of mine because I misunderstood the event going on this weekend from what I read. No, it was the ISU elite basketball camp this weekend. I saw camp signs all over campus a bit ago and saw a bunch of kids walking across lincolnway back to the dorms with basketball shoes in hand on my way home from my softball game. Certainly was a lot of kids.
