How long before Prime runs out of town?

Behind you
My prediction remains that Prime is going to try to get into Jerry's ear to get Dallas to trade up and draft Shedeur, and then negotiate for himself to replace McCarthy as the Cowboys' head coach. Primetime father/son deal. Would bring all the sizzle that Jerry is always looking for.

This is what I want solely for the entertainment factor.

But I think he stays for another year since he made Hunter and his kid play in the bowl game to keep program momentum going

Way up there
Will an NFL team take a chance on him? Will he be able to reload talent after this year? I'd be skeptical on both questions.
I think he will get good players but there aren't always guys like Shadeur or Travis Hunter in the portal. For all the hype about how he's used the portal, he hasn't really proven you can build a legit title contending team. He has a couple of the best guys in the country and has patched together a roster around those guys and then played a scheme that favored those two guys. What he's done is impressive but it'll be interesting to see what life is like without those two. Replacing them would be tough for anyone.

If I'm not mistaken, they have talent waiting in the wings and have recruited well. With prime it feels like everything could change at a moments notice.

Never know, but I’d probably say he stays.

Just got a commitment from a 5 star QB, and it’s clear kids want to come play for him so I doubt recruiting drops off.

Plus CU isn’t the kind of place that will fire him for not winning a natty. Unless he completely tanks he’ll have a job as long as he pleases.

What is their home game attendance like?

Home game attendance doesn’t matter for a program like that. What matters there is whether or not they can keep up with their monetary commitments. From what I’ve heard, they fell short on many of those commitments this year.

McCarthy gets fired tomorrow after an Eagles smack down. Deion will be his replacement and the Cowboys will move heaven and earth to draft his sons.
Dak's contract makes it pretty unlikely they'll take a QB early, especially given what they'd need to give up to be able to select Sanders.

Ehh that’s half true. They’ve hit on some high end recruits, but have had really small incoming high school classes. They are going to live/die by the portal and hoping they hit on their top couple recruits.

Shedeur, Hunter and a super soft conference schedule papered over a lot of things. They still need to develop more depth and get better up front, especially on offense. Shedeur made a ton of plays but was constantly under pressure and they had ZERO running game. Awful o-line play

He's got Liberty's QB coming from the portal. He's 23-6 in his career. He also has one of the top HS QBs coming in next year.
