I just started watching Workaholics a few weeks ago and it's awesome. I need to catch up on that as I've only seen a few episodes.

I just started watching Workaholics a few weeks ago and it's awesome. I need to catch up on that as I've only seen a few episodes.
Funny is in the eye of the beholder. Just because it is not funny TO YOU does not mean that it is ridiculous that it is funny for others.
Maybe, but I can tell you with certainty that whatever the #1 comedy in America is, it's not going to be funny. America is chock full of the lowest common denominator type people that think 3 1/2 men was the funniest show out there. Heck, David Spade's character in Rules of Engagement is basically the same as the one in Just Shoot Me. The older couple is pretty much King of Queens and the younger couple is flat out boring. Then they bring in the Indian kid for some ethnic/servitude jokes. Laughs ensue I guess.
I do watch BBT. Not even sure why I guess. Get a couple of chuckles out of it a show and Kaley Cuoco is hot. So, that's DVR worthy, but I don't mind if I miss it. Guess I like a little more edge to comedies than what is the usual bland network stuff. Just seems like most of those are going through the motions...like eating cafeteria food every day. And the ones that are actually halfway clever, like Arrested Development or Don't Trust the B, get cancelled because the general populace don't really get them. Or HIMYM, which was both funny and clever to start, but kept going too long and ended up more drama than comedy (just like Friends). Still say, if you want funnier stuff, you have to go to cable like Sunny, The League, Archer, Workaholics.

agree with this. They kept using it as filler when it should of got it's own time slot.
I hope they just do a spin off with Barney - assuming Robin dumps him at the alter and he moves to Vegas.
Agree. Some of the shows this season were nothing more than silly. But, I do want to see how it ends. So I'll keep watching.
That's what the thread was resurrected for. The mother was revealed at the end, but that's it. The final season will be about how her and Ted meet, and how they fell in love.
New Girl and Modern Family are two of my favorites. HIMYM is still one of my favorites but hasn't been as good the last couple seasons.
Modern Family is good but this season was a bit of a step back. I also like Community on NBC, but the same story there as Modern Family.

Two things wish HIMYM would have wrapped up this year, second thought the mom would be hotter! Really that is what we waited all this time for.
**** I lied three things. If you aren't watching New Girl you really should, the first season is hit and miss. Buddy and I always joked they must have three writers one is really good the other two were just okay. Second season the good writer must have taken over. Nick has taken over and the show is excellent.

Its time they ended HIMYM. They have been reaching the last few years.

I freaking love Stan Marsh. But I'll skip the Jameson and go right for the S'more Schnapps.
Bob's Burgers is fantastic. It is the perfect way to end the weekend. Everyone should do themselves a favor and find a way to watch seasons 1-3 over the summer and join the party this fall.
Thought I'd bump this as were drawing near the end. I know the show has lost about 95% of what made it good but can't quit now.

Any episode that had the mother... generally has been good.
Any episode that predominantly featured marshall's road trip with the black woman.. was awful. Should have cut most of those out and had more of the mother.
