I am losing sound and occasionally I lose my picture on my TV. Now I dont believe its my TV, based on the fact that my 360 is still working perfectly..So that leaves me with Mediacom's (yes I know) HD reciever as the only place it could be coming from..

I have tried about everything, unplugging it (which worked the 1st few times), played with the sound on my tv, unplugged all wires and put them back in..

Anybody have any suggestions? Mad rep to whomever can help me!!

TIA

I've been losing sound for a while, but not video. Turn off TV or receiver and it's all good once it's back on. Using HDMI

If it still screws up, take it back to Mediacom. I don't know if you know this, but if you go directly to Mediacom downtown, you can get an HD box with no waiting. I called them first and they told me I would be on a waiting list. The next day, I went to said location and they had ~30 of them just sitting there.

I know it's not technically related to the audio question, but it can still be listed under "help" so I'll ask... I've really been itching to get a projector to replace the DLP in the basement and I was wondering if anyone had any advice on them and where to buy. I've only looked briefly at best buy and they had like 3 different models, that varied quite a bit in price. Thanks for your help in advance!
