Help Me Understand Going For Two

Play to win. Call was perfect results less than expected. **** Ou, **** Texas

It was the right call and the right play and they freaking made it if there wasn’t horrendous pass interference.

I’m so sick of “let them play”. Not calling penalties is the exact opposite of letting them play. That’s deciding who wins by letting obvious penalties go.

I get the sentiment, but that's just not how the game has been called. 2pt conversations typically allow for physical play. Then again, that also goes for offense by allowing borderline pick plays.

Kolar was open, but watching it again Purdy had pressure in his face and a couple of players between Prudy and Kolar that may have screened them from view.

There’s a difference between physical play and holding and pass interference while not even playing the ball.

Go ahead and think that way, but Alabama would have gone for the extra point and trust his guys in overtime. It’s not that it’s the Ferentz mentality: ISU had the confidence and was playing much better than Oklahoma and the OU secondary was depleted. I think ISU would’ve won in OT over a beat up Oklahoma squad.

We are not ******* Alabama you idiot.

Because you let your ******* nuts hang out like a man and take this ******* game from the goddamn sooners. That's why you go for 2.

I get that ISU was in control in the 2nd half, but college overtime takes things like momentum and field position and throws it in the trash and resets everything.

I loved the call. Go for the throat. You don't tip toe into the lions den. You grab your sword, your shield, kick the door door and ask where the son of a ***** is at!

Loved the call.

What everyone else has said....Hurts in short field, kicking woes for us, etc.

And, you know how this game went we.would.have false started a couple times in OT and drive ourselves.out of FG range, lol.
You forgot their subtle “help” from the refs.
