Long time lurker, but I seldom post. Bad planning on my part but I am going to be on a flight from Minneapolis to Las Vegas during the game tonight. My flight is scheduled to leave at 7:50 PM. It's a 3 hour flight so I will miss the entire game. I can pay for internet on the plane so I want to be able to stream the game. Any suggestions? How likely is it that I will be able to be the game? Thanks in advance for the info.

-watch the archive on espn3 when you land in decent quality (assuming you find an ISP that's a partner), 30 minutes after the game ends

-try the various crappy streams at feed2all Watch Live NBA and Basketball Online Free NBA,NCAA and Basketball Streaming

*Sidenote: I watched our blowout Baylor win live flying from LA to Chicago on Virgin Air because they have live TV on the flight. Entire game was timed perfectly in the middle of my flight. Best flight of my life.

Watch Live Sports Events and ESPN Programs Online and on Mobile Applications - WatchESPN will have it, but the internet provider needs cable access so it probably won't work. However, FirstRow Live Football Stream | Watch Live Football Online | Live Soccer Stream always has the games, though not always the best quality. Worst case scenario the replay should be posted shortly after the game is over, so you should be able to watch the replay after your flight assuming your schedule allows it. I say probably because this was my plan for the ISU-KSU game, but according to ESPN, due to technical difficulties, it wasn't posted.

I almost always check out the games on espn3 archive, and this is the only game in the past two years on an ESPN network that wasn't archived. I could easily have been in the same situation because it's usually reliable.

NBA Live Stream Online | Watch NBA Online | Watch NCCAB Online

For some reason the game is listed as tomorrow instead of today. That could cause a problem if they people don't put up the stream because of a date error, but I wouldn't be too worried about it.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll try once we get going. If all else fails, I should be able to listen to the radio broadcast on cyclones.tv. Go Cyclones!

You have nothing to worry about. It's not like the game is on some obscure channel. It's on ESPN. There will be streams everywhere, just keep a look out.

Watchespn access is based on the ISP that you pay for. Doesn't matter what you are connected to.
To get it you will need to have a partnering cable provider with a cable package that includes ESPN. (Or the login of someone who does....)

feeds existing somewhere = no worry

Wifi connection on a plane good enough to stream video from an already unreliable source, I'd wouldn't count on it being great.

To the op: you might want to consider just streaming the ISU radio broadcast from cyclones.tv or several Iowa radio stations who stream the audio for free even though they aren't supposed to. I'm sure that would be more reliable and you don't have to deal with popup ads and that crap.

My bad, didn't read far enough to see he was on a plane. That changes everything, and I'm almost positive that he won't be able to stream from his flight.

Yeah, I want to add that I have watched most games this year on the ESPN3 archive due to my schedule, and the KSU game is the only game I haven't seen archived. Given the wrath ESPN got from ISU fans for that game, I'm guessing they will be extra sure to get the Baylor game archived.

My $.02 advice for the OP since you probably won't be able to get a good stream during the flight is to just watch it when you land. The extra 2 hours might kill you but speaking from experience, it is better than watching a bad feed. Go with the radio broadcast if you can't wait.

Does the plane have either DirecTV (United, JetBlue or Frontier do) or Dish (Southwest does through your computer or tablet)? If it does, you might be able to get the game over ESPN. Otherwise, most internet on planes do not allow you enough bandwith to stream anything.

(I have to fly on the Sunday of the Elite 8. I am flying Southwest, but they have Dish, so I can watch the games on there.)

Hey. Just wanted to thank everybody for the help. It turns out that the Delta flight I was on had Dishnetwork so I could watch the whole game during my flight. Wife, the kids (one still at ISU) and I were cheering on the Clones during the flight. What an awesome game. I never thought we would be so lucky as to be able to watch this awesome game on the flight. Now I need to put money on ISU to the Final 4!
