The DFW Club has arranged for a pre-game event prior to the TCU game in Fort Worth. We know that there may be scheduling conflicts but want anyone who might be interested to know that all Cyclones are welcome. We don't have anything formally planned for the women's tourney this year but I fully expect that to change next season. Tickets for the men's game are still available for only $12 on a will call basis only. Details below!
TCU Game Details - WEAR YOUR RED ISU GEAR!
Here are the long awaited details for the pre-game gathering prior to the ISU game at TCU.
First of all, please be aware that we can still get tickets on Will Call for the game up until Thursday night. Seats are $12 each and purchasing details can be obtained by emailing
[email protected].
We will be meeting at Coopers Old Time Pit BBQ near the Ft Worth Stockyards starting at 3PM before the game. While this isn't all that close to the arena, there just weren't any venues in the area that could handle our numbers and time-frame on a Saturday afternoon/evening. We will start heading over to the game around 6:30PM to ensure we arrive in plenty of time for the 7:30 tipoff.
Coopers has a large heated and covered patio that we have reserved. They have a walk-thru line for getting your food so there will be no checks to wait for or anything that will delay our departure. While 3:00 PM may seem a bit early, we wanted to give everyone plenty of time to eat, have a couple of beers and hang out with fellow Cyclone fans. Feel free to show up anytime that is convenient for you but know that we will start migrating to the basketball complex around 6:30 or thereabouts so don't wait too long.

Also please keep in mind that the game is being held at Wilkerson Greines Athletic Center near I-35W and I-20 due to ongoing renovations at TCU's Daniel Myer Coliseum. There appears to be ample parking around the center so that shouldn't be a problem.

Hope to see you at either the game of the pre-game. Please wear your cardinal colored ISU gear so we can make a statement. We will probably have more fans than TCU once again.
