I do think Wieskamp will go pro but I am higher on him than some. I think his age plays a big factor in his decision. Turned 20 in August so old for his class.
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahaha ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahah hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahaha Is this a audition for Last Comic Standing
Matt and Monté player two years under each Hoiberg and Prohm. Those are some tasty development arcs.
He's also a huge liability on the defensive side of the ball and a lot of teams would look at that. I'm not saying he's not good I honestly think that he's gotten a chance at Iowa to be the guy and has done pretty well there. He's turned into someone that some fans have already called a "legend" (I'm not making that up). If he'd go somewhere else, that fan base is not going to see him as such. He's staying at Iowa.
Barta: Does Kirk have any kids that know something about basketball? Assistant: No Barta: Does he have any kids that have watched a basketball game?
He'd be fine as a gunner you play 20 minutes per night behind 3-4 guards with more well-rounded games and try to hide on your opponents' worst guard. Any decent coach is going to try to get him switched to somebody that will break his ankles, though. As a full-time starter in the Big Ten, his deficiencies are exploited. As a Donovan Jackson sort of bench gunner, I think he would do well on even some of the better teams in the country. He would have a long list of suitors.
Dang, we will be lucky to keep the game against them within 20. Their roster is LOADED with top 100 players . . . . including Joe T.
Yeah I guess him coming in every now and then to hit a three or two would suit him really well. But yeah, him starting at a better program would not be likely!
