Cool. I don't give a **** about your lawn chairs, sparklers or the fact that you seem to think that knowing an annoyance is coming makes it magically fine.

What I care about is the ******** blowing **** up over my house for going on 13 hours now while I nurse a hangover that would drop a horse. I don't know what the point of fireworks at noon are, but it didn't seem to deter them.
That's your own fault. Way to ruin other people's fun over your own problem, not an excuse to be a d*** (even if the others are also being d***s).

How exactly was I ruining someone else's fun by watching TV in my own home? I mean I could see it being possible if I cranked the volume as loud as possible and positioned the speakers to blare out of open windows so everyone in the ******* neighborhood could hear it, but I didn't do that, so I'm at a bit of a loss here.

You sound like a big baby. Did you call the cops on these inconsiderate jerks?

What? No.

You all are really touchy about your fireworks. I don't care if you want to to shoot them off, just have some common courtesy and take them outside of city limits. It's Iowa, I don't think you'll have much trouble finding an open area to blow up all the **** you want.

It was a joke, I agree that at certain times its not ideal but so many people begged for this for a long time and now that its here there is a lot of people are complaining. I have a young child AND a dog as well. I also know that for veterans it can be difficult and itd be nice for people to keep it in mind while doing it. Only so much that can be done though

This will sound like a "get off my yard" old guy rant, so I apologize in advance..........

Picked up a lot of firework "waste" in my yard from all the items shot off by my neighbors. It would have been nice if they would have picked up the junk from what they used during their night of fun.

If my dogs left waste in my neighbors' yards, I am fairly sure they would complain.

But, thankfully, it is all over for another year.
