Friday OT - Your Two Front Teeth

Got to be with my two adult daughters over Christmas for the first time in 5 years. They live 1500 miles from us with busy schedules.
Got a couple of gift cards which is a huge win because one of the gifters of them has had a tendency of giving me useless clutter even after requests for just cards.
Nothing that I really wanted but some good stuff. My middle child (daughter age 7) was apparently dead set on getting me a light up bicycle bell and rainbow light up thing for my spokes. So look for the new coolest dad riding around CR next year.
Not this year, but the best gift I ever got as a child was the Lego "Caribbean Clipper" from their Pirates collection. I cherished that set. Thanks Uncle Ralph.
My old man paid for a road trip with just him and my son to go the game at Jerry’s world. The game obviously sucked but the memories made over the couple of days will last a long time.
Kids made me a bobblehead golf dude of myself -with my hat/shirt/etc.. Great gift idea or Father's Day, etc.. for the golfing person (Etsy)
I got two artist colored drawings: 1) Welch ave station, 2) Cy's roost... both in red frames. Very cool. Will go on my ISU wall in my Man cave.

Favorite gift I gave: Made a customized wall calendar for Spousal500, featuring photos of our new kittens. Wish I had started on the project sooner, but she likes it wasn't anticipating it.

Nothing worth noting. Just another year of getting snubbed. A bay can dream.
The gift about which I'm most excited is a Tiffany's gift card. It's for a trip we'll be taking to Chicago for my birthday.

- My daughter gave me Atlas Obscura, a book based off of the website. I use the crap out of this website to find the weirdest and most interesting places in any travel destination to customize our itinerary. I used it a ton for her and my trip this past summer, and so she knows how much I love the resource.
- My son gave me a table book of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. The show is sort of my comfort show - I have watched it through probably a half dozen times because I know it's not going to be depressing or difficult if I've had a hard or long day.
I have a nephew that is always doing the water bottle flip and land it upright thing so the wife found this game called Chicken vs. Hotdog that has figures with suction cups that you flip and stick. I gave it a glance and agreed he’d probably like it.
Fast forward to Christmas Day and he opens it up and starts playing with it in front of the extended family. Holeeee ****! We all had a laugh at that.
