Friday OT - Are you an expert?

I am impressed with the flooring, but seriously. Can't beat my toast. It's just not going to happen. Plus, IT'S ALL I HAVE! I can make that and macaroni & cheese. ;)

(You forgot conspiracy theories!!)

I hear Mr Janny is an expert at making chili without beans.

I'm pretty good with Excel but I think it's more that I'm surrounded by dip *****. We have a couple people completely oblivious to the SUM function and it's infuriating.

If you work in Excel frequently and don't know how to use
- Macros
- Lookups
- Pivot Tables

You need to get yourself educated and make your life easier.

I'd also say I'm an expert on basically all Office products...even that bastard Access.

I live in Access these days! I always thought I was fairly expert on Excel but maybe it was just the people around me being considerably less skilled than myself. I can do lookups........I've seen a pivot table but don't know how to do it myself. Haven't done a macro and don't know what I would use it for. Womp womp. I can use all sorts of formulas though!

I'm an expert in everything. Just ask my wife (although I don't quite understand how it is that she very successful despite generally ignoring my expert advice)...

I don't know if I would call myself an expert on any of these things but I am definitely proficient at:

Hookah's
Dutch Oven Cooking
Building a fire from scratch (and only using 1 match)
Pub trivia/trivia games. I know the most useless facts

Can you make fire without matches or a lighter?

If you're talking with flint and steel, easily. If you're talking rubbing two sticks together (with the help of a shoelace/string), yes but I would never want to do that again.

Drywall and procrastination.

was waiting to hear this one! My husband might give you a run for your money though.........multiple all nighters in college writing papers that he knew about (and had time to do) weeks ahead of time. That includes one paper that he turned in 9 days late.

What about with your mind?

Researching stuff I don't need on the internet, and am an expert for the short period of time it takes me to order it on the cheapest source.
I will echo this. I'm very good at online shopping and finding the best product for the money.

I also know a lot about homebrewing, but would never consider myself an expert. There's way too much I don't know and things change frequently.

I don't mean to brag but I'm basically a world class chef with a microwave
