Have any of you been following the Bulls? I’ve watched a few of their games this year, off to a rough start, but he’s got a young team. I supported Fred chasing his dreams going to the NBA, but Chicago forums are calling for his head. Any idea of what his future looks like?

Watching them play the Nuggets and Monte now. Is he going to be ther much longer? No. That said he has done a pretty good job coaching IMO. The Bulls just are not good talent wise right now. The biggest mistake was not stating it was a rebuild job when he was hired.

For such a successful guy I don’t understand why did he decide to coach the Bulls when everyone could see there wasn’t enough talent to win when he went there.
It’s like he wanted to go there no matter what. He must’ve been pretty unhappy coaching college ball last couple years.

The front office doesn’t have any idea: first they wanted to go young and then they went with Wayde, a pricey yet aging addition. There has been no consistency or long term strategy.

I don't follow the NBA but I think after Jordan/Jackson that's been what they do.

I think a lot of it is he just wanted to try the NBA before his heart condition got worse or became more of an issue.

Went from babysitting college kids to working with millionaires that act like they need babysitters.

He's hasn't had a top 30 talent on his team and probably two 30-60 range talents in Niko and Butler...one of whom threw a fit about playing for Fred on day one.

As a lifelong Bulls fan, and one who at one time defended some of the front office moves, it's time for a complete shakeup that has little to do with Fred.

The game has passed by GarPax.

Read that the odds are 5-1 he’s the first NBA coach gone this season

For a franchise that should be top 5 or top 10 in attracting free agents they have been absolutely horrible since the dynasty. The Knicks are proof you can still suck when your free agent targets sign with you...but you can't be Chicago Bulls bad in free agency.

Maybe... but that turned out to be a crappy decision because how much fun is it really to be a loser coach for a loser team? I can’t believe that he comes home every night and is thinking I love coaching and loosing in the NBA.

Cleveland already fired their coach so he beat the odds for now. If they fire Fred Reinsdorf needs to fire Paxson and Forman with him because those 2 guys have no clue what they are doing. The franchise has no direction right now and while they have a few decent young players on the roster none of them are star caliber type players you need to win in the NBA. LaVine is a good player on a bad team and is putting up bloated stats so far because of that. Hes more of a 3rd or 4th best type of player youd like to have playing with 2 all star type players.
