First home softball game of 2009

It was a little chilly but the sun came out and it wasn't too bad. Fun to be outdoors again watching Cyclone athletics. Here are a few photos from today and I like the new uniforms...we ended up on the short end, 6-4.

Yes they are. I'm so glad we changed our uniforms to true cardinal and gold. They look soo much better than the red and yellow.

In the home games so far, Rachel Zabriskie has pitched every single inning. I think they used Courtney Wray at Drake in relief but it was probably the first time she has pitched in college.

UNI was getting top 25 votes last week. Changed coaches a couple of years ago and the new guy brought in some hitters.
