Really?

I wonder just how many shoes have been sold because "I saw that no name guy in the NBA wearing that style of Lebrons and I really liked them", I'd be willing to bet very few, if any at all. What a stupid thing to say.

You're probably right. This isn't a thing...

And on and on and on and on....

You already did
There's a difference between "I am worried" and "it is possible". It's certainly possible, I am just not worried about it. I hope that Kansas is doing things above board but if they are not and KU gets punished then they get punished and life will go on. KU basketball is more than just a season or a banner or a coach. Wipe a season off the books, whatever. Take down a banner, whatever. Fire or arrest a coach, whatever. They will hire another coach, play another season, win another banner. In the grand scheme of things it is all replaceable.

Kansas survived Larry Brown screwing us. Kansas survived Roy Williams ditching us. We will survive life after this coaching staff, too, whenever and however that end comes. ISU replaced the freaking "MAYOR", the guy who was literally born for that job for crying out loud and you guys seem to be doing just fine.

Kris Humphries isnt wearing Kris Humphries 3's; he is wearing Lebrons and the more NBA guys fans see out there wearing Lebrons, the more sales of Lebrons there are.

Sheesh, do they not offer marketing classes at ISU? This is high school level economics here folks.
Do they teach corruption 101 at KU? You seem keenly trained in it.

It's all replaceable as long as the corruption Continues. Once that has been stopped and the only tradition you have is that corruption and have nothing else to offer...

When someone has to find the Sole Collector to make their case, they have no case.
Who knew that place was a thing?
I didnt have to go find it at all. It popped up on my twitter feed because Eric Bossi, a national writer who covers college hoops, retweeted it.

And I would assume that the people who buy and collect shoes like these are the people who know it's a thing. To put it mildly, I doubt many of the core users of this site are their target audience.

No way Wigginton is worth enough to Nike or Adidas for them to try to stear him to a certain school. It doesn't make sense for them to bribe players other than like the top 5-10 recruits, who they are 90% sure will turn into NBA players. Guys ranked in the 40-60 range have like a 25% chance of becoming NBA players, or less. That's a bad investment for the shoe companies. That doesn't mean lower ranked players don't get paid off some other way, just not by Adidas or Nike.
I would guess the top 30 are dirty . . . you know . . . the dirty thirty.

Call me crazy but if I'm Nike, Addidas, or UA and I'm looking to throw some cash to influence a recruit that may be the next big NBA shoe deal/prospect I'm probably going to dial in on Kids that are ranked in the top 15-20.
I don't know. I might dial in on Wigginton to gain a foothold in the untapped Nova Scotia market. Basketball is the 2nd, 3rd or 4th most popular team sport among the 900,000 people living there and has produced such sports legends as Sydney Crosby and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's dad.

Wigginton was ranked #24 in the final rivals 150 ranking for Class of '17.

Jahvon Quinerly, who allegedly got $150,000, was ranked #22 in the last Rivals 150 ranking for Class of '18.

This isn't just about Top 5 future NBA All Stars.

I'll handle this for coachie:
I WILL NOT SIT HERE AND BE EXPECTED TO THINK ABOUT MY OWN WORDS.

Now to teach you cretins about real basketball, Kansas basketball. Shut up and listen, frauds.

That was convincing. Almost too convincing. Kudos to you for making it to 76,000 posts before being exposed as a KU troll ;)

But, you do realize that the 247 composite ranking is basically the Mecca of recruiting sites/rankings, right?

So actually he was #19 and Wigginton was #34

I believe he was making a joke about the ISU football team from the 50's that was known as the dirty thirty. No need to bring up Wiggington as we all pretty much know Nike gave him bags of money to keep him from going to Oregon.

I would be surprised to hear that almighty NIKE would pay players to be steered to Iowa State as ISU has one of the lowest shoe/apparell contracts in Power 5. Kansas on the other hand...
