Fanatic Wish List

This is a good idea, but why don't they just pull the most repped posts? Save mods the trouble of having to read through endless posts and it lets the Fanatics choose the best posts.

That's an even better idea. Think of how many "What TV should I buy" that would prevent.

I've always wanted to see a locked debate forum, with threads that would go mano e mano, and allow people to vote on the winner. That way, you could challenge someone who is opposing you on a contentious issue, and lay a verbal beatdown on them.
Don't make me hurt you... verbally.

Awesome replies so far...keep them coming! We are currently working on the post of the day/week section to go on the front page. Hasn't been a top priority (server, transition ,etc), but it is on our radar.

Thanks!

I would like there to be some use for credits other than betting them so as to get more credits.

I may be the only one but I rarely go to the front page. I usually just go straight to the message boards. I probably miss a lot because of this.

Better yet, why don't we just get rid of credits altogether. They're worthless and serve absolutely no purpose, nor do they carry any redeemable value.

He's right. Credits were worth something when you could redeem them for stuff at the CF store. Now, they're just a novelty like rep.

Speaking of which, how about bringing back the CF store?

poker tables. were you use your credits and play poker against fellow cf'ers

Two more thoughts

What would people think of a CF version of StubHub rather than a "ticket exchange" forum? It'd be nice to have a one-stop shop for tickets. I'm visualizing a collapsable schedule, when you open a "game" you have a list of tickets for sale or WTB notices. Make it free to post tickets for sale, just list the number, section, seats, asking price OBO, and contact information. Would eliminate some of the redundant ticket threads and cut out the StubHub middleman, but I admittedly have no idea how difficult it would be to set up and/or maintain, even without the bells and whistles.

Second, how about a CF SwapShop? We have one at work and it's proven to be very effective, kind of a poor-man's Craigslist. Couple categories, i.e. Audio/Visual, Clothing, Household items, Cyclone memorabilia, Misc., Wanted, etc. If you have something you want to sell, post what it is, a brief description of the item(s), asking price OBO, and contact information. Keep it simple, only brief descriptions, no pictures, etc.

Just thinking out loud...both are probably waaaaay too big but I figured I'd float them out anyway.
