I've always wanted to see a locked debate forum, with threads that would go mano e mano, and allow people to vote on the winner. That way, you could challenge someone who is opposing you on a contentious issue, and lay a verbal beatdown on them.

How about a "group buy" section where a local merchant offers special deals on cyclone gear if we make a group buy. This works good for a lot of car sites.

That would be very cool, though most really, really funny stuff only makes sense when you read the thread that it's in.

Start a network and gain Big 12 aproval through TV contracts to televise every football and basketball game. During off hours you could show classic games and tape delayed events from other sports

This is a good idea, but why don't they just pull the most repped posts? Save mods the trouble of having to read through endless posts and it lets the Fanatics choose the best posts.
