If it turns out to be radical Islamists or others they claim to hate, do you think they will still see it as a "gift from god?"

The Westboro Church and Al Qaeda/radical Islam are simply two sides of the same coin. Both need to be destroyed using all means necessary IMHO as they are a blight on humanity.

Is this the earlier fictional account from the Post?

Pretty much anything the Post writes is fictional, so I'm inclined to say the answer to your question is "yes."

So I am not a Baptist, but they believe in the 10 commandments right? If so, I assume "Thou shall no kill" is one of them, but apparently Westboro Baptist believe God is allowed be break his broke his own commandment?

Don't understand...

Westboro may use the name "Baptist", but they are not Baptist. There isn't a legitimate Baptist church that condones the activity that they regularly pull, nor does any legitimate Baptist church want to be associated with those arsehats in any way.

There are churches that say a lot of stupid **** that are still legitimate.

I wouldn't even consider them Christian.

I disagree with that part of the statement. I think there are means of fighting radicalism, and some means, only spread extremism.

This kind of stuff with never stop. Personally the two things in the world that need to be taken most seriously to help prevent tragic things like this are mental disorders and understanding other religions. I feel like emphasizing on these two things will drastically cut down on events like this, but others will still continue to do things like this for other reasons.

Honestly, we should probably be grateful that we live in a country where its still a big deal when this kind of happens and its not just a normal fact of life.
