Explosions at Boston Marathon

Very frustrated about this and sick to my stomach and angry. I feel terrible for all of those people, what will it take for this **** to stop?
This kind of stuff with never stop. Personally the two things in the world that need to be taken most seriously to help prevent tragic things like this are mental disorders and understanding other religions. I feel like emphasizing on these two things will drastically cut down on events like this, but others will still continue to do things like this for other reasons.
I'm normally a big CNN guy but I'm about ready to turn it somewhere else. Their correspondent just said, paraphrasing "The president took some heat for not calling an incident oversees "terrorism" so I'd imagine he will do that today because he needs to politically".
Who thinks about that at times like these? Or if you do, don't say it on national TV.

If we're talking radical Islamists, understanding won't make them stop. About the only thing you can do is recognize that the overall risk that they pose to you is tiny in comparison to the dangers you face from other everyday things, and continue to live your life anyway.
In a free, open society (or totalitarian society for that matter), there is no way to make every single gathering place of people 100% safe, and further, you would not want to live in a place that tried.

Understanding and educating people may lead to a reduction in the number of people becoming radical.
The kind of people that protect us from these acts deserve more than that. That is why it is such a shame that the man who took out Osama Bin Laden is in such a crappy situation now.
You must start the education from a very young age. The palestinians are taught in grade school to hate the enemy, and you wonder why they end up throwing rocks and missles into the general population.
What I mean by educating people on other religions is they know what we believe in when we die. Many religions believe that when they die they will have an amazing afterlife, better than what they are getting while alive. They may believe they are hurting people they are also allowing people to reach a better life, which is their afterlife. I understand they are causing chaos but it is just another way to view things.
Not that I necessarily care about anything that a raging, paranoid ******* like Alex Jones has to say, but now you have me curious; what were his remarks?

Its going to get better, but its not going to change overnight. With the internet, the world is becoming a smaller place and maybe some of those who were taught in grade school to hate the enemy will realize they aren't the enemy.
Its not just educating muslims, its educating everyone. There are some who are taught to hate and fear all muslims.
Speaking of ESPN...I know some of the criticism for their various inanities is well deserved, but I've been watching them more this afternoon and night than either CNN or ESPN, and they are really doing some quality work. Bob Ley is a phenomenal journalist, regardless of the context of talking about sports on ESPN.
On twitter he said "Our hearts go out to those that are hurt or killed #Boston marathon - but this thing stinks to high heaven #falseflag"
