I do not count the morning shot of Bailey's in my coffee.
I didn't count the wine I had at communion Saturday night either.
Haven’t had a drink since NYE. Still feel like **** in the mornings, so I decided to try and cut caffeine too. Just made it through day two. I was drinking either two small cans or one big can on Celsius every single day at minimum. We’ll see how it goes. I had a pretty bad headache yesterday afternoon.
The caffeine withdrawals are real, bruh. I've cut out my frequent trips to Scooters down the street, but I'm still rocking the zero sugar sodas. Haven't missed the alcohol at all; waking up without a headache on Saturday and Sunday morning is quite nice. I can't hang anymore anyways.Haven’t had a drink since NYE. I had to cut out caffeine, mainly coffee, for about a week after Christmas when I had developed a sore in my mouth. All of the food and drink over the holidays irritated something and I want to cut out as much salty and acidic things as I could to let it heal. Holy hell, the caffeine withdrawal headaches were a total nightmare. I did have a drink from Hyper in there to blunt it one day and then Celsius on another. After things healed up, I'm trying to limit it to a couple of cups of coffee or no more than one caffeine drink a day. If i can keep it in that 200-300 mg range and keep it to earlier in the day, I'm generally ok.Haven’t had a drink since NYE. I've been slowly reducing the caffeine intake over the last couple months. I went from three Celsius (600 mg), down to two (400 mg) and then down to one of the big cans (270 mg). It has been much easier falling asleep the last couple nights and to be honest, I haven't seen a ton of difference throughout the day other than the headaches which I'm hoping will go away soon.
Yeah, that's quite a bit. Rarely did I ever drink more than 2 smaller cans in one day and I always try to not have any after 2 pm. Although, all it takes is one late night and then over caffeinating the next day and the bad cycle begins.I've been slowly reducing the caffeine intake over the last couple months. Unless you're in a severe stage of alcoholism, cutting out caffeine is a lot more difficult IMO. For one, it's a more physically addictive drug so you don't have to be as deep to get withdrawals. Secondly, I think most people who use caffeine use it every single day. Most people who use alcohol don't use it daily. Caffeine is much more ingrained in daily routine for most folks.
