Seemed like maybe there was more than one. I figured it had it had to be the school doing it, but who knows.

Saw a small black one in the second half, I think. I'm no expert but it looked too small to have much technology on board.
Flew over my section a number of times. Definitely a small frame, but the sensor unit on top was pretty large. There were times it seemed really low dipping down over the hillside.

The one that was smaller was from a digital media company in Minneapolis. They were flying around the tailgate. A guy from their company stopped at our tailgate and asked if he could buy the four remaining brats for his workers for $20. I told him absolutely not and that he could have them as long as he took more food than the brats. He told me the name of their digital media company. If anyone’s interested, I can ask my brother-in-law and my buddy. They might remember. He was really nice. He said someone hired him.

FAA would have had to given there ok. They would have had to file through dronzezone. There would have been a TFR in place (stadium holds over 30,000). Also is controlled air space on a normal day. ISU requires you to have prior authorization if you are taking off or landing on the university's property.

I believe the last prosecuted person at the college level happened at Ohio State.

The same drone was shooting lots of footage of the marching band playing on the steps of the Alumni Center prior to the game. The pilot had amazing skills, so I'm sure they were professionals hired by the university.

With the amazing crowd, beautiful weather, gorgeous sunset, fireworks, and the outcome of the game, I'm sure they got some incredible footage of the Jack Trice game that we all will be seeing soon!

We saw about 20 lights all in a row flying from south to north over the lots around the second quarter. Figured it was drones but they were too high to tell.
