Will miss Dishon and think he was fairly underappreciated for how good he was in fairly limited minutes. I trust the plan but am also fairly confident he'll both make some money and be pretty good somewhere else.

Wow. This kinda sucks. He was solid. Did not have great leaping ability I noticed when comparing him to Keita from BYU. He has hops.
He will be missed but the lack of minutes came from foul trouble mostly. And I think him missing film wasn’t the best. TJ runs a tight ship.
With Dishon and JT both portaling, the optimist in me assumes this means we have a solid starting center lined up.
look at it like someone else could be coming in to start and take his minutes at the 5
He would’ve been a nice backup big but his inability to go up strong or even catch the ball sometimes was infuriating
He would be good off the bench but not a starter. He didn't put in the work to get this body ready for the Big12.
He would have been a really nice second big. If we want to make a final 4 run we need a little more out of our 5 man.
This, I imagine the staff having the SDSU kid in probably sent Jackson a pretty clear message.
I remember start of the season being so thankful how well he shot FTs as a big man (maybe I was still mad over what seemed to be horrible FT shooting last year by everyone)

I think most would prefer to keep him, but the reality is there are limited dollars to go around, so does he get a big raise here or go elsewhere. Sadly just the reality of the game now. Hope he does well.
I think we get someone else more suited to our style that isn’t soft and can attack.
