Are we the only school that would lay off a player for the reason we did on him? And would we really gotten in any trouble?
I actually thought Peter was fragile and wouldn't make it through college with out more injuries since he was often injured in high school. I love how the kid plays and wish we would have took him.

I'm fine with the players fred took instead. Jok is a nice player, but he wouldn't have sniffed playing time until this year.

No, if Fred messed up it was not teaching enough defensive discipline and not recruiting very well this last year. That's about it.

Didn't we pull the plug on Jok after we self reported some illegal contact (texting?) by a former assistant? (Blanking on the assistant's name.) I was thinking we wanted to completely sever ties to help our cause with the NCAA investigation.

I think UNC was the real loser in this. They were hot on him when he was projected to be one of the top recruits in the nation his sophomore hs season. He would have went there in a heart beat to play with Paige

He will be their 'Go-to-Guy' next year and I could see him as one of the top scorers in the B1G; Fran seems to have developed this attribute in the last few years (Gatens / Marble / White / Uthoff).

If they are gonna be worth a damn next year he'll have to put up at least 20 next year.

Fred gave Jok his highest recommendation to Bill Self and his buddies at the Jayhawk Country Club. I think he is recruiting some kids for Kansas this weekend with the all-start break.

We have Matt Thomas and Naz Long. No. Fred didn't mess up.

How do you know he would have went there in a heart beat? Was he close with Marcus?
And if he got an offer, do you think he would have gotten minutes over someone like Brice Johnson? No

And Fred didn't mess up by not going after Peter. We all knew Peter is a good player but his knees are on borrowed time. He's actually logged more minutes than I thought he was capable of.

I love Jok but this was a **** poor effort by Iowa. Defensive intensity was absolute garbage. They're looking like an entitled bunch of guys who are letting the # next to the Iowa name on the scoreboard get to them. Lazy effort tonight. Not good.

they seem to play to their opponents. Good or bad.
