I really wanted Race. Thought he would be perfect in our system. Turns out he's had a pretty unremarkable career at Indiana thus far.

Injured for the most part, really came on the later part of the year in the games I watched.

Not being able to get kids on campus makes Iowa State a pretty dang tough sell. This is worst case scenario for CSP.

If we look back at his history with spring recruiting, this is kind of how it's been every year. He almost always misses out on his initial targets. Shayok may be the exception. I think we're taking things hard because of how desperate we are for talent but this year doesn't seem much different than what we're used to. Shayok is the only April signing I remember under Prohm.

I mean, what we've become used to in that area has led us to be generally bad, so 'no change' in that area means more of the same.

Can we at least maybe save the meltdown until we know for sure we aren't getting him? He's said nothing but good things about us. If he does pick Cincinnati it will only be because it's closer to home. Still trying to stay in contact and show him what he has to come by coming here.
