Deep Threat at WR?

I'm pretty sure Steele has no problem tossing the ball 75 yards. Can he do it and put it on the money? We will find out.

Hmm. Still haven't learned the difference between "reasons" and "excuses" have you?

Please, allow me to illustrate. An excuse is when a guy says he has to cheat on his wife because she's "frigid". The reason...is because he's worthless in bed. :twitcy:

Now then. Oddly enough, even CPR has said that it's too bad that Money was hampered by injuries in his career here.

I think that Gary should be able to break some long, perhaps he or Bundrage. Some of the little details about Bundrage that I hear are intriguing.

Things like "high school high jumper", as well as mentions of what long arms he has.

Indeed, I really like Daley's video--almost as much as I liked David Irving's HS film. Interestingly, the coaches compared Daley's level of athleticism to Bundrage on Signing Day.

Of course, they are still recruiting as well. People like this guy (and his teammate--since committed to Baylor) tell me that they are looking for vertical threats.

Money still seemed to be able to work the dance floors up and down Ames well for having cracked ribs... Not buying it.

Quenton Bundrage..The dude has some serious sticky fingers and strong hands.

Yep, it's Bundrage. He's going to see major time this year. I see a rotation of Lenz, Horne, Gary, West and Bundrage. Gonna be tough for anyone else to break into that group. Daniels, Coleman and Tiller have the best shot. I do like the incoming group of FR a lot, but they're going to have to wait until some guys graduate before they get their turn.

I thought the OL played pretty well all season except for the bowl game. But, a lot of that had to do with what Rutgers was doing. Did we see a different OL with JB (only 10 sacks compared to 17 with SJ), or a better OL ( we had tons of injuries by the time JB was playing). I think the ability to run our offense more efficiently was the difference. Just for grins, RGIII was sacked 27 times. Based on his numbers one would assume he had one hell of a OL.

SJ got sacked a lot after he was injured. I don't think the line played poorly for either QB.

I've said before that I have followed Bundrage and the Manatee Hurricanes Football. I am hoping to see him contribute on the field this year however I knew he was an excellent high jumper and I found the link to show his personal best is 6'8 Quenton Bundrage - flrunners.com. I wish the Cyclones the best of luck this year!

Just for comparisons sake, South Carolina WR Alshon Jeffery did not drop a single pass all season long this past year. I believe Justin Blackmon had three drops.

Jeffery: 49 catches, 762 yards, 8 TDs. Will likely be taken in the first or maybe second round this year

Blackmon: 121 catches, 1522 yards, 18 TDs
