Just saw that this caused the cancellation of Ron Burgundy doing SportsCenter tomorrow. I was looking forward to that.

So I honestly haven't been able to follow this very closely, for those of you that have, is there a good chance he gets charges brought against him?

My guess is not. It just seems like they would file charges immediately today if they came to that conclusion

Soooo, suppose there are some Ohio State students filing anonymous complaints tomorrow at about 2:01?

So now we know how this will play out. If they were going to charge him, they'd just charge him and let the media figure it out. They're not going to give 24 hours notice on a press conference to announce charges being brought, they're going to announce that there was not enough credible evidence to substantiate charges.

There is also the possibility that they made a deal for him to turn himself in tomorrow afternoon and they will hold the press conference after he is in custody.

Ya they don't necessarily need to arrest him today, it's not like Jameis Winston can board a flight without being recognized anywhere he goes. My guess is not enough evidence though.

They do know they're deciding the Heisman, don't they?

I don't get the logic of holding a press conference. Charge him, or don't.

If they decide to not press charges, they'll need to explain in detail why not, and even then there are still going to be plenty of people who are convinced he got special treatment because he's a football player.

I agree Clark. When you say his DNA is in her undies, whether it was consensual or not, they need to have a good explanation since the victim said it wasn't.
