I think what we have learned is that winning solves a lot of problems. But also that a coach showing respect for his players makes things better. Hoiberg shows Kane respect and then Kane shows his team respect. I have no idea what really went on at Marshall (and I doubt that you do either...you have one side of the story), but the worst thing you can say about Kane at Iowa State is that he is really fixated on winning. He praises his teammates. He works his *** off (the poor guy was pretty much exhausted on Tuesday night, but still managed to jump higher than I thought he could to grab a rebound late). Publicly, he is an ideal teammate.
