A Cards fan sitting in the bleachers and hoping it's kid friendly.

This will not end well.

Yea. I've been there for a few of those. As long as you aren't rubbing anything in the Cubs Fan's faces, you should be fine. If you talk smack, you might end up on the field.

Just don't paint your chest with CARDINALS spelled out like this guy did with the DEVILS at a game:

Actually, I think I'll heckle Kosuke instead, assuming he can interpret what I'm saying. Being a Cards fan and all, I'd rather cheer on Mr. Ludwick isntead. :wink:

Wow...well if we see a big ball of people jumping on someone...we will start a thread in your honor.

going for the weekend and sat and sun games. We stay out in schaumburg and take the blue line in from either forest park, o'hare, or rosemont, then red from the loop. We are never in a hurry and don't have to fight parking or traffic. This trip is a money saving experiment. Have ipass so tolls are 1/2 what you pay at the booth. Use CTA visitor passes so El and buses are covered all day. Got a 2 room suite for $36/night, shuttle to the el so no parking there; groupons for 1/2 off at a couple of nice restaurants (437 rush and frontera grill). Let the wife hit ikea friday night and monday and everybody is happy. go cards!!

The few games that I have actually driven to I found some free parking straight west off Addison, about a 10-15 minute walk... It really wasn't too bad and was pretty easy getting out after the game too.

I don't know if your leaving Iowa the day of the game but if you are you should leave extra early. There is tons of construction going on now when you get closer to the city. Last week it took me over an hour just to get to the city when I was going to the Cubs game. It would normally take me around 40 minutes.

I've often parked on the street directly north of Wrigley, specifically Sheridan Street north of Irving Park Road. I lived at 4144 N. Sheridan many years ago, though I hardly recognize the regentrified neighborhood!

Following the game, walk six blocks to your car, drive Irving Park west to the Kennedy and you're off towards home...

Trip = MAJOR SUCCESS.

We ended up driving pretty much to Wrigley, ended up parking at DeVry University and taking a shuttle bus over to the stadium. It was VERY easy, much easier than people led me to believe. Got in easy (2 hours prior to game), got out easy (and we stayed for the entire game).

Pujols = GOD. Hit 3 jacks today. It was freakin' amazing to see.

Loved every bit of it, although RF was kinda hot haha. But anyway, nothing like putting a whoopin' on the Cubs in front of their own fans. GO CARDS!!!

The Green Lot parking lot on Grand, two blocks north of Addison, one block north of Sheffield, is for season ticket holders but they also sell parking to early arrivals for $35.

The Taco Bell just west of The Cubby Bear Lounge on Addison sells parking for $20, but it's $40 if you want to have a spot that is not blocked by other cars.
